Dear Members of the Sunshine Soccer Club,

I am honored to serve as your president for the upcoming season. As we embark on another exciting year of soccer, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all players, parents, and supporters of our beloved club.

Sunshine Soccer Club has a rich tradition of promoting soccer as a means of fostering physical activity, building character, and strengthening community ties. We are proud to have a diverse and passionate membership, united by a shared love of the beautiful game.

As your president, I am committed to ensuring that Sunshine Soccer Club continues to be a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to develop their soccer abilities, form lasting friendships, and grow as individuals.

We recognize that the success of our club is not only measured by the trophies we win on the field, but also by the positive impact we have on our members and the broader community. That is why we are committed to promoting sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for all players, coaches, and officials.

I am excited to work with our dedicated board members, coaches, and volunteers to make this season a success. Our goals include expanding our membership, enhancing our facilities, and continuing to provide quality programs for our players.

Last Season Results

I am delighted to report on the latest results of our club's matches. Our team has been working hard and playing with determination and sportsmanship, and it shows in the results of our matches.

U18's Sunshine Coast Breakers

Boys

We kicked off the season with a thrilling 2-1 win against Green Valley High School, demonstrating our skill and teamwork on the field. The following week, we battled Redwood City FC to a hard-fought 0-0 draw, showing our resilience and determination to secure a point.

In our third match, we faced a tough challenge against West Hills United, but emerged victorious with a 3-2 win, showing our ability to perform under pressure. Unfortunately, we suffered a 4-1 loss against San Mateo Strikers in our fourth match, but bounced back with a 2-0 win against Peninsula Arsenal, demonstrating our ability to learn from our mistakes and come back stronger.

Our sixth match against Foster City Falcons resulted in a 1-1 draw, showing our ability to compete with top teams in the league. We continued our winning ways with a thrilling 4-3 victory against Sunnyvale United, demonstrating our attacking prowess and determination to succeed.

However, we faced a tough challenge in our eighth match against Los Gatos Tigers, which resulted in a 2-0 loss. Despite this setback, we remained focused and motivated, securing a 3-1 win against Mountain View Magic in our next match.

In our final match of the season, we faced Santa Clara Sporting, and after a hard-fought battle, the match ended in a 2-2 draw, demonstrating our never-give-up attitude.

Overall, we are proud to report that our team achieved four wins, three draws, and two losses over the course of the season. This record reflects the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, and supporters. We are confident that we will continue to build on this success in the future.

Congratulations to our players for their achievements this season, and thank you to all our supporters for your unwavering support throughout the season. We look forward to continuing to make the Sunshine Soccer Club a success.

School Holiday Clinics

With the school holidays fast approaching, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting two School Holiday Clinics for our young players. The clinics will take place on Saturday, April 1st and Saturday, April 15th, and are designed to provide an opportunity for our players to improve their skills, make new friends, and have fun.

The clinics will be run by our experienced and qualified coaches, who will provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our players. Participants will be divided into age-appropriate groups and will have the opportunity to work on their technical skills, tactical knowledge, and physical conditioning.

Our School Holiday Clinics are open to all Sunshine Soccer Club players, from beginners to advanced. The clinics will be held at our home ground, and will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The cost of the clinic is $30 per session per player.

We encourage all parents and players to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their skills, learn from our experienced coaches, and have fun during the school holidays. Please note that places are limited, so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment.
