What To Expect This Year?

The year for the Sunshine Soccer Club typically starts with pre-season training in January or February. During this time, the coaching staff and players would work on fitness, tactics, and team bonding in preparation for the upcoming season.

The regular season usually starts in March and runs through to August or September. During this time, the Sunshine Soccer Club would compete in their league against other teams in the Sunshine Coast region. They would play a series of matches, both at home and away, with the aim of finishing as high up the league table as possible.

Throughout the year, the club may also participate in various cup competitions, such as the FFA Cup or local cup tournaments. These competitions provide an opportunity for the club to test themselves against teams outside of their league and potentially win silverware.

In addition to matches, the Sunshine Soccer Club would also hold regular training sessions and friendly matches to help players continue to develop their skills and build team chemistry.

Off the pitch, the club would be involved in various community events and initiatives, such as coaching clinics for local children, fundraising events, and social events for players and supporters.

At the end of the season, the Sunshine Soccer Club would have a break before starting the process all over again with pre-season training for the following year.
